Green Screen Photo Booth Engages with Fans at the 2016 Farmers Insurance Open
The Farmers Insurance Open, held each year at Torrey Pines in San Diego, brings out some of the top golfers on the PGA Tour. In addition, thousands of spectators come to enjoy the weather and to watch their favorite pros tee off.
To help engage with those fans, the title sponsor, Farmers Insurance, created a Social Clubhouse on the 17th hole. This included a large display running our social media feed, our social photo kiosk and green screen, a charging station, and giveaways.
The green screen booth gave attendees the choice of 5 backdrops, such as the famous 3rd hole, to pose, print, and share instantly. The social media wall pulled in Instagram and Twitter hashtags from #FIO16 and #SeeYouAtTorrey. Posts were displayed on the large screen and guests walked away with Farmers Insurance branded takeaways.
