Social Media Photo Kiosk Helps TomTom Connect to Fans at the Boston Marathon
TomTom, the world’s leading provider of location and navigation solutions, wanted to connect to fans that were in attendance at the 2014 Boston Marathon event. Besides creating a buzz around their brand, they wanted to promote their new Cardio GPS sport watch.
Our SocialBuzz photo kiosk provided the perfect solution to snap photos of guests in front of a creative backdrop. A personalized heart shaped board was also added so each guest could fill in the blank based on the hashtag #MyHeartIsWith. This creative mix of sharing to Facebook, Twitter, Email, and SMS, as well as the hashtag integration, proved to be an effective and fun time in Boston.
Besides the prints and sharing of photos, TomTom was generous to make a donation for all photos taken to One Fund Boston. We were happy to be a part of such a great event and cause and appreciate TomTom’s efforts.
TomTom promoted the photo activation on their Facebook page: “Stop by our booth (# 1305) at the Boston Marathon EXPO this weekend! Test out our new Cardio GPS sport watch and snap some fun photos – we’ll make a donation to the One Fund Boston for everyone who joins us.”
