Green Screen Photo Booth Engages Fans at the Farmers Insurance Open
As the 2017 Farmers Insurance Open began at the historic Torrey Pines golf course in San Diego, buzz surrounded the return of Tiger Woods and many other top PGA golfers in the world.
Abundant sunshine brought thousands of fans to the course over the 4 day tournament, providing a great opportunity for engagement, photos, and sharing experiences on social media.
As part of the PGA’s year round campaign and sweepstakes, our green screen social photo booth was on site for a memorable and shareable activation.
Guests had the choice of 6 different backgrounds or virtual scenes to choose from on screen. These represented various locations on Torrey Pines golf courses.
After choosing their desired scene, the social photo booth snapped the photo and instantly displayed it for sharing to Twitter, Text, Email, and Facebook.
In addition, a custom brand message directed guests to the #MustSeeMoments hashtag and sweepstakes entry form.
A few prop signs were included as well to lively up the photos. Throughout the weekend, hundreds of golf fans stopped by to take and share their Must See Moment at the green screen photo booth.
We always love being part of such a great event each year in our own backyard. And besides the fun at the booth, the golf tournament had an exciting turn of events and ending!
