Social Meme Photo Kiosk Draws Crowds at the Powerade 7 on 7 Tournaments
The non-profit Blazing 7 on 7 runs spring, summer, and winter limited contact football leagues for 3rd to 11th grade students. Teams compete in different cities to represent their own town or city and to have a great time on the field.
As a major sponsor, Powerade was looking to have a photo station at each of the events which would allow guests to snap and share their photos socially. In addition, they wanted an option for fans to personalize each photo, similar to the popular Memes that are seen on social media.
In order to do that, our team provided a SocialBuzz Meme Photo Kiosk that let users type in their city name on screen. This then personalized the digital photo that was shared to Facebook, Twitter, Email, and Text! The campaign hashtags, #Powerade7on7, #JustAKid, and #RefreshCrew were also added to the photo frame.
