Social Photo Kiosks Help Engage Nerdist #Conival Attendees at 2015 Comic Con

Comic Con 2015 has come and gone, bringing flocks of fans to the San Diego Convention Center and the surrounding area. For those that couldn’t gain access inside the convention center, there were tons of activities and activations. One of those, the Nerdist #Conival, was put on by Legendary Pictures, and was free to the public.

Throughout the 4 days, tens of thousands visited the Petco Park experience which featured social photo opps, laser tag, celebrity panels, and interactive games.  Nerdist, Geek and Sundry, and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls were among the brands that participated.

In two areas of the floor space, our SocialBuzz social sharing photo kiosks were setup to snap, share, and print photos for those that stopped by.  Custom props were provided to further engage and add excitement to the photos. A dragon backdrop and medieval was the theme at the Geek & Sundry booth while a carnival theme was at the Nerdist activation.

Fans had fun capturing memories at both the Geek and Sundry and the Nerdist #Conival photo booth activations!

We love being part of Comic Con and are excited that it will continue to be held our local San Diego area for at least a few more years.  Hopefully we will see everyone again at Comic Con 2016!
