Social Media Photo Station at Torrey Pines
For the 2014 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, ViaSat reached out to help capture some out of this world, space alien like photos and social sharing. They had the great alien and props so we helped out by providing the photo station and the custom galaxy backdrop.
For 4 (fore!?) days, golf fans in the area of the 17th and 18th holes, had the opportunity to pose with the props and alien and share their moment to social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) and to email or SMS. On screen data capture was added and guests had the chance to win an iPad Air each day by liking ViaSat’s Facebook page and by sharing their photo to their network.
Lastly, a branded photo overlay and appended messages, such as “Hanging w/ Space Aliens & ViaSat at PGA FIO” were added to the shares.
